Statement on COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Amid this public health emergency, here are some of the steps Trust Women is taking to ensure abortion access for our patients. Trust Women is closely monitoring the spread of coronavirus disease or COVID-19. We are taking special precautions approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We are screening all patients for symptoms of COVID-19 over the phone and in person. Only scheduled patients are being permitted into our clinics, to limit the number of people in the building and to allow safe social distancing practices. Any patient reporting respiratory issues is being rescheduled until they are symptom free. Even more hand sanitizer has been added to patient waiting areas, in addition to those in clinical areas.

We have increased our janitorial services and are using a higher grade disinfectant. We have removed all shared items out of lobbies and waiting areas, such as pens, books and magazines.

The health and safety of our patients, staff and communities is our top priority.

In the weeks and months to come, we will be assessing and reassessing as this unprecedented situation continues. My commitment to you is that we will do our utmost to mitigate the impact of this pandemic on our patients and to ensure that women can continue to get the care they need.
