Mission & Vision
To open clinics that provide abortion care in underserved communities so that all women can make their own decisions about their health care.
All women will have access to health care, including abortions, regardless of where they live or their ability to pay.
Statement on Diversity:
Trust Women is committed to building a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, ethnicity, class, religion, physical ability, gender or sexual orientation. We stand in solidarity with the reproductive justice movement and seek to amplify the voices and participation of women, people of color, Indigenous people, LGBTQIA+, people who have had abortions, people who were formerly imprisoned and people living in the intersections of these experiences.
The Trust Women logo is forever intertwined with the memory of Dr. George Tiller, a man who not only knew that women deserved trust and respect but dedicated his life to serving them. As Wichita’s sole abortion provider for 40 years, Dr. Tiller always trusted women to know what was best for themselves and their families. Dr. Tiller wore a silver Celtic Shield knot bracelet, a symbol of protection. As Trust Women was born out of the tragedy of Dr. Tiller’s assassination, we wanted a logo that would honor his memory. Our logo, reminiscent of a Celtic knot, exemplifies the strength of Dr. Tiller and the strength that comes from creating a community, an infinite source of support and protection.
